Glow - a party to remember
WESTERN BUREAU:
A couple on their balcony at the Century Tower, danced to soca, oldies, dance hall, reggae, as Kurt Riley took hundreds of Sagicor revellers to musical heaven at Jewel Grande Montego Bay.
Taking ownership of a large part of the white, sandy beach of Montego Bay's newest luxury-suite resort, Sagicor had what they tagged a 'Glow' party, and like a dancing flame they burnt every grain on the beach.
Guests were gifted with glow bracelets upon arrival. The jewellery matched the beautifully lit tents, the fascinating dance floor, and the throne designed for the DJ who had guests eating out of his hands. Riley was the perfect fit to an evening culminating day two of the Sagicor Motivational Seminar.
Inspired by some of the most prolific motivational speakers in the country, plus celebrity, Eric Boles, former NFL player and founder of The Game Changers, Sagicor employees and their guests did not need much encouragement to take ownership of the beach. By 10 p.m., the event advertised to start at 8 p.m. was in full swing.
Food stations dotted the seaside venue, and libation was motivation to the soul - and dancing feet.
It was clear that by midnight, only parents asked to collect their children at 'Night Care' were willing to go home.
Glow was certainly, a party of 'Nobody leave, nobody go'.
