Guardsman Games heating up

The top teams have been chosen for the next round of the elimination process for the much-anticipated staging of the Guardsman Games, set for July 22 at the Hope Zoo, St Andrew.

Following an elimination session held on June 23, several teams vied for the top spots, with each team participating in a short run with an obstacle course and two other challenges.

At the end of the boot camp session, the teams with the best times were chosen, with an additional six teams receiving a wild-card entry into the next round. These teams will participate in another challenge at Puerto Seco Beach on July 7 to test the floating water course and for a day of activities.

The top teams include Supligen Warriors, SSL Brigade, SSL Plumnation, Lighting Warriors#3, C&S Warriors, Infinity, SSL Money Team, JN Conquerors, Wolfpack, JAAR, Supligen Troopers. An additional six teams will vie for the wild-card spot. They include C&S Starz, C&S Fighters, Supligen Spartans, Camcorp, Sagicor Phoenix and Sagicor Gladiators.

The event is endorsed by Jamaica Moves, North American Obstacle Course Race & World Championship Obstacle Course Race.
