Published:Wednesday | January 2, 2019 | 10:17 AM

The National Water Commission (NWC) is reporting that production has declined by 50 per cent at a number of its facilities in St James due to drought conditions.

As a result, the NWC says customers will experience intermittent water supply, low water pressure or no water conditions.

Affected facilities and areas served are:

* Montpelier Well : Mt. Carey, Cotton Tree, Anchovy, York Bush and surrounding areas.

* Mafoota Pumping Station: Roehampton, Richmond, and surrounding areas.

* Endeavour Pumping Station:  Hampton, Plum Tree, Mount Horeb, Barnett Bush and surrounding areas.

The agency is urging customers to store water for use during this period and advises that normal operations will resume as soon as the condition improves.
