Trial judge Justice Marcia Dunbar-Green is today expected to rule on no-case submissions made by defence attorneys on behalf of Detective Corporal Kevin Adams and Constable Jerome Whyte, both of whom are charged with murder.
It is alleged that the duo shot and killed Anthony Trought at 1st Street in Terrier Town, Clarendon, on February 13, 2012.
During the trial, which began just over three weeks ago, the prosecution led evidence that on the day of the incident, the policemen visited the community in search of Trought.
According to the prosecution’s case, the police eventually found Trought and shot him dead.
An autopsy report indicated that Trought sustained three gunshots wounds to the torso.
