‘Tis the season for hope and inspiration

In this heart-warming holiday film, Sgt Major John Frost arrives home a month early from his last deployment, due to a post-traumatic stress disorder incident and is happy to be home for Christmas. Surprisingly, he finds his wife, Jill and son Jimmy too busy to give him the embracing welcome he anticipates. In his absence, they have adopted a little dog named Charlie. John struggles to get along with the feisty, new family member and to reintegrate to civilian life. He seeks solace with fellow vets at the Moose Lodge, but when the community hits some rough patches, Charlie heroically comes to the rescue and helps John find purpose and a new path to the future.

Charlie’s Christmas Wish is a Lionsgate film starring Aiden Turner ( Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.), Dianne Ladd, Lindsey McKeon and Jay M. Brooks. It is directed by Sue Ann Taylor and Melissa Holt, with scripting by Taylor.
