Jamaica's preparations for the upcoming friendly international against Peru has hit a setback as three members of the delegation tested positive for COVID-19.

In a release by the Jamaica Football Federation this afternoon, two players and an official who were scheduled to leave today were confirmed to have contracted the virus. However, the statement went on to say that they are asymptomatic and are currently isolating at home.

The rest of the delegation are expected to arrive in Lima today in preparation for Thursday's game.

The friendly is being used by interim head coach Paul Hall as a means to evaluate players who could feature in the Reggae Boyz upcoming World Cup qualifying matches against Mexico, Panama and Costa Rica.
