West Indies captain Kraigg Brathwaite stroked a patient unbeaten half-century as the West Indies overhauled Bangladeshi’s first innings score of 103, and go into lunch at 159 for three on Friday's day two of the first Test in Antigua and Barbuda.

Brathwaite, who resumed on 42 on the second morning, added another 33 runs to be not out on 75 from 239 balls with eight fours. Overnight batsman Nkrumah Bonner could only manage to add 21 runs to his 12 before he was bowled by Shakib Al Hasan for 33.

Jermaine Blackwood will resume with Brathwaite after lunch on nine runs from 43 balls as the West Indies look to add to their lead of 56 runs with seven wickets in hand.
