Salmon the quickest, leads loaded women's 400m hurdles

Shiann Salmon qualified for tomorrow's women's 400m hurdles final with the fastest time in the field at the Jamaica National Senior and Junior Championships this evening at the National

Salmon clocked 54.10 seconds to book her place in what is exepcted to be a tightly constested affair to determine the three places for the World Athletic Championships.

Janieve Russell of MVP had the second fastest time with 55.04 while Andrenette Knight had the third fastets time with 54.55.

World Championship bronze medallist Rushell Clayton advanced to the final with the fifth fastest time with 54.67.

The final is scheduled to start at 8:00 p.m tomorrow night.
