New look TGI Fridays to open today

TGI Fridays will open its doors today with a new look.
The popular franchise, which first opened its doors in Kingston in 2004, promises diners a fresh upscale look and feel, but same vibe.
According to Kerri Hosein, vice-president of TGI Fridays, the redesign of the eatery was done with customers in mind. “Each guest that walks into the restaurant should leave with a greater understanding and appreciation of who we are as a business and what we represent. This is shown through our unique style and engaging service. We are fixed on creating authentic, fun and lasting memories within the hearts and minds of our guests, and this move was a commitment to that promise,” Hosein said.
Hosein indicated that as a brand, Fridays continuously finds ways to stay competitive in the market while still staying true to who they are. “The brand has always been known for creating that Friday feeling any day of the week. Now, we have raised the bar on that experience to deliver not only fresh new look, but exciting new food and beverage options and unmatched service practices and executions,” Hosein said.
The new Fridays restaurant design has flexibility as a key focus. “Here, we aim to honour each experience had within the four walls of this original American bar and grill. From our date nights to our GNOs (girls’ nights out) and family nights, you can count on Fridays to make it special just for you,” Hosein said.
“Guests will now have a clear view of the experiences being formed all around them. From the mixology at the bar to the steamy sizzle at the open kitchen area, we want you to see, smell and feel it all,” she added.
Guests will also be delighted to find a variety of fresh new flavours, including new appetisers, entrees, burgers and desserts.
Some of the new menu items include: two new big AF Fridays burgers, two new flavours of their famous Fridays’ wings, loaded Buffalo fries and other platters, and a rich chocolatey s’mores pie, made from their original Fridays from-scratch recipe.
“Our new look represents how we want our guests to fully experience Fridays. We want to be closer to our audience and appeal to them in several different ways all at once. The only way to do this is to be right in the heart of the action. With our new design, the possibilities are endless,” Hosein said.
