After 33 minutes of football, Jamaica lead Mexico inside the Estadio Azteca in Mexico City 2-1.

Jamaica got goals from Bobby Reid in the 7th minute of play, but were pegged back by Orbelin Pineda’s 17th- minute equaliser. However, the Reggae Boyz would regain their lead thanks to an Edson Alvarez own goal in the 32nd minute of play
