Stocks Round Up | Sterling Investments (USD), MPC Caribbean and Caribbean Flavours today's top performers

The Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE) Combined Index was back to winning ways on Wednesday.

Brisk trading on small volumes ended with an advance/decline ratio of 53/46.

The JSE Combined Index advanced by 1,998.79 points or 0.58 per cent to close at 348,572.04.

The JSE Main Market Index advanced by 2,312.81 points or 0.69 per cent to close at 336,939.12 while the Junior Market Index declined by 17.40 points or 0.46 per cent to close at 3,734.42.

The JSE USD Equities Index closed at 225.30.

Stanley Motta up 13.04 per cent to close at $5.72
Purity up 10.65 per cent to close at $2.39

Losers

MDS down 16.50per cent to close at $5.01
JMMB 7.50% down 15.86 per cent closing at $1.22
JPSCo 7% down 15.24 per cent to close at $90.26.
ISP Finance down 12.67per cent closing at $19.65
Everything Fresh down 11.31 per cent to close at $1.49

Market volume

Some 11.26 million units valued at over $59.41 million were traded today.

Volume leaders were Wigton, followed by Image Plus and Transjamaican.
