#TRIALS2023 | Pryce shocks one-lap field to take first senior title

Former Vere Technical athlete, Nickeisha Pryce, captured her first National senior title in fine style as the University of Arkansas quarter miler won the women's 400 metres at the JAAA/PUMA National Senior and Junior Championships inside the National Stadium this evening in a personal best, 50. 21 seconds.

Following her win in the women's 400-metre hurdles on Saturday, Janieve Russell also produced a personal best, 50.76, to finish second as defending champion, Candice McLeod had to settle for third in 51.01.
