THE CARIBBEAN Shipping Association (CSA) held its 22nd annual Caribbean Shipping Executives’ Conference (CSEC) from May 20 to 21 at the Hilton Miami Airport Blue Lagoon. Industry leaders and decision-makers from across the Caribbean maritime community came together for two days of discussions, networking, and addressing key challenges facing the region’s shipping industry.

The CSEC featured presentations on navigating recent changes in the maritime industry, strategies to reduce carbon emissions, and the impact of nearshoring on the Caribbean. Attendees also participated in discussions on employee well-being initiatives to improve the maritime workforce and promoting opportunities for women in the industry.
