Police probe suspected drowning at Breezy Castle

The East Kingston police have launched an investigation into a suspected drowning at Breezy Castle, Kingston.

The deceased has been identified as 31-year-old Michael Alvaranga, also known as 'John Crow,' an unemployed resident of 18 Fleet Street, Kingston.

The police were alerted after the body was found washed up along the shoreline near Norman Manley Boulevard around 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday.

Upon arrival, authorities identified the victim as Alvaranga, who was reportedly known to suffer from epilepsy.

The body was transported to a funeral home for a post-mortem examination. The Elleston Road Criminal Investigations Branch is currently conducting a probe into the incident.
