Peter McConnell, managing director, Trade Winds Citrus Limited, hands over a $4.9-million cheque to Camile Wallen-Panton (right), CEO, Linstead Public Hospital, while Lauren Mahfood, marketing manager, Trade Winds Citrus Limited, applauds the moment during the handover ceremony held on September 27 at the Linstead Public Hospital in St Catherine. The funds were raised from the ninth annual Tru-Juice Run/Walk event, which saw a record turnout of participants and the largest sum raised in the event’s history. This is the fifth consecutive year that Linstead Public Hospital has been the beneficiary of the event, with the funds going towards improving medical equipment and facilities.
