23-year-old man shot and killed in St Thomas

The St Thomas police are investigating the fatal shooting of a 23-year-old man in the parish on Sunday night.

The deceased has been identified as Jahiem Braham, otherwise called 'Jah', a labourer of Blacksmith Lane, St Thomas.

About 8:45 p.m., Braham was at McLean Lane in Seaforth, St Thomas, when explosions were heard.

The police were summoned and, on their arrival, Braham was found with what appeared to be gunshot wounds.

He was assisted to hospital where he was pronounced dead.

No motive has been established for Braham's death.

The Morant Bay Criminal Investigations Branch is probing the incident.
