Gas prices climb by 25 cents, diesel up $2.90

Motorists will pay 25 cents more for gas when they go to the pumps on Thursday.

The state-owned oil refinery, Petrojam, says E-10 87 is to move up by $0.25 to sell for $161.22 per litre and a litre of E-10 90 will go up by $0.25 to sell for $170.25 

Automotive diesel oil will increase by $2.90 per litre to sell for $165.27. 

Ultra low sulphur diesel will sell for $173.16 per litre following an increase of $2.86. 

The price of Kerosene will go up by $1.96 to sell for $153.04. 

In the meantime, propane cooking gas will go up by $0.96 to sell for $75.47, while butane will move up by $1.58 to sell for $85.50 per litre.

Retailers will add their mark-ups to the announced prices.
