Curfew in sections of Trench Town, Jones Town, Craig Town and Admiral Town extended
The curfew that was imposed in sections of Trench Town, Jones Town, Craig Town and Admiral Town in Kingston has been extended.
The curfew began at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, November 15, and ran until 6:00 p.m., on Sunday, November 17.
The security measure was extended from on Sunday, November 17 to 6:00 p.m., on Tuesday, November 19.
The boundaries of the curfew are:
North: Along an imaginary from the roundabout of West Road and Greenwich Street to the intersection of Lyndhurst Road and to the intersection of Slipe Pen Road.
East: Along Slipe Pen Road from the intersection of Slipe Pen Road and Lyndhurst Road to the intersection of Studley Park Road and Slipe Pen Road.
South: From the intersection of Studley Park Road and Slipe Pen Road onto Asquith Street then onto 7th Street to the intersection of 7th Street and West Road.
West: From the intersection of 7th Street and West Road to the roundabout of West Road and Greenwich Street.
During the curfew, all persons are required to remain within their premises unless otherwise authorised by the ground commander.
