EDUCARE | The power of love

Published:Sunday | April 17, 2022 | 12:06 AM

In this world, no other virtue is greater than love. Love is truth, love is righteousness, and love is wealth. This world has originated from love and is sustained by love and ultimately merges in love. Life bereft of faith and love is meaningless and useless. Man, not being able to comprehend the significance of love attributes physical relationships to it, such as the love of a mother towards a child (affection), the love between friends (attachment), and the love that exists between husband and wife (infatuation).

It is love that encompasses and permeates the entire world. No one can exist without love even for a moment. This love is the very form of God. Today, man is misusing this love by diverting it towards the ephemeral world. Never underestimate the power of love. When the principle of love in every human being is unified, it becomes cosmic love. To experience bliss, one has to develop love more and more, for it is love that takes the form of bliss.

TRANSFORMED INTO LOVE

Wickedness, misery, and violence are on the rise because love for God is waning. All wicked qualities must be transformed into love. Love should be the undercurrent of all spiritual activities or else it will be a sheer waste of time.

Today, people are not making any effort to understand this principle of love. It is only the power of love that can nullify a curse or a sin. It is only love that can remove all the bitter feelings and enhance the sweetness of life. The power and the speed of love are such that it can go round the universe in one second. The speed of light may be estimated but not the speed of love.

Man must make an effort to recognise the presence of this infinite, immortal, and nectarine love inherent in him. Let all your thoughts, words, and deeds be suffused with love. Let your life be filled with love, for only divine love and grace, not weapons, can save a nation.
