Poems
Beautiful star
Sadness creeps in,
deep within
places hidden,
Doubtful words seeps
into the cracks unseen,
somewhere between,
reality and a green screen.
But hope is planted
by our mental seeds;
The habits we maintain
affects the climate of our brain;
Our words affects the world
we see,
and how we feel
forms the picture
of what we believe to be real.
So be gentle and kind,
and take your time
pacing in your healing treks,
taking your helpful steps,
to be your biggest fan,
while doing the best you can,
to be kind to who you are,
while you shine
so boldly and brightly,
near or far,
being one truly
amazingly, beautiful star.

Play time
The singing of the birds echoes in the clear blue sky
On a warm autumn day
Where green grass paves wet grey clay
The silence is invaded like soldiers going to war.
With chattering voices
Boundless energy
The little ones play.
Underneath the canopy of rustling leaves
Fingered branches greet morning rays
Refreshing breeze moves with ease
Circling them all.
Green, yellow, red, blue and white
Rainbow colours of crayons
Worn so bright
Trampling innocent blades growing so fast
The innocence of youth
It never last.
On the lawns of a magnificent mansion
Rich in Colonial passions
The property of perennial beauty
Transforming history.
Of Black Stiebel’s millionaire dreams
Shadowing under millions of leaves
Metaphor for slaves once grieved
Lady Musgrave’s white ideals
1838 Law repeals.
They play.
Following in lines
“A boy and a girl”
“A boy then a girl”
The teachers say.
The little faces
Curious as mice
Eyes popping out
All in one shout.
On that day,
Piajet is manifested
The right way.
There,
Where the children played …

Life’s Aspirations
Some say to be poor is a crime
but to be rich and famous
comes with a price just as much.
You may not be rich and famous like Bill Gates
but you can still achieve your own wealth and fame
You may not be as inspiring and articulate
as the great Martin Luther King Jr
but you can still get your points across
You may not be as talented and gifted like Picasso is with art
but we individually possess our own unique gifts and talents
You may not have the will power, determination and strength like Nelson Mandela
to rise to the top after years of injustice and hardship
but we all have been through trials and tribulations at some point or another in our lives
and overcome like gladiators.
You may not be as smart and brilliant as Steve Jobs
who stunned the world and created Apple
but we as individuals can create our own impact on society
You may not be as innovative
as the creator of space shuttle to travel through space and time
But the inventor of the kitchen fork
is just as brilliant
they are been use by millions around the globe every day
You may not be as fast Usain Bolt
who stunned the world by running 9.58 seconds in a 100m race
but we can all cross the finish line
regardless of our position
we only fail when we stop in our tracks..
