Top four features of the 2017 Mitsubishi ASX
The face-lifted Mitsubishi ASX was recently launched at the Mitsubishi Jamaica showroom on South Camp Road in Kingston. In speaking about the revised fascia, Mario Phillpotts explained that the new treatment gives the model a more dynamic and aggressive look and is in keeping with the current design language of Mitsubishi Motors.
The engine and drive train remain the same, and the interior receives a seven-inch Bluetooth touch-screen radio across the model range.
The top four features we loved about the 2017 Mitsubishi ASX are:
1. The 2000cc four-cylinder MIVEC engine: Powerful for responsive driving while providing optimal fuel efficiency. The engine pairs to a six-speed CVT transmission with static paddle shifters. The ASX is also equipped with Mitsubishi's well respected on-demand four-wheel drive system, which can be activated with the touch of a button.
2. Rockford Fosgate audio system: The Executive models come standard with a 710W, nine-speaker system, providing crystal-clear highs, clean mid-range, and the 10" dual voicecoil subwoofer provides a crisp powerful bass as the foundation. The audio system is connected to a high-definition seven-inch touch infotainment screen.
3. Panoramic glass roof: The expansive fixed glass roof floods the cabin with light and provides a luxurious and sophisticated atmosphere for all occupants.
Accenting the interior of the glass roof is LED mood lighting, adding further detail to a nicely appointed interior.
4. Smart key: This allows the driver to lock and unlock the doors, open the tailgate, and even start the engine with the touch of a button, all while the Mitsubishi Smart Key is in your pocket or handbag.
