The new Audi Q5 has a powerful 2.0 TFSI S tronic (185kW) engine giving up to 20kW (27hp) of extra power, with fuel consumption, however, being significantly reduced.
Compared to the previous model, the new Q5 has grown in nearly all of its dimensions and now measures 4.66 metres (15.3 ft.) long, 1.89 metres (6.2 ft.) wide and 1.66 metres (5.4 ft.) tall, with a 2.82 metre (9.3 ft.) wheelbase.
The optional Audi virtual cockpit presents brilliant graphics on its high-resolution 12.3-inch screen. The driver can choose from two views. The head-up display – also optional – projects key information on to the windshield.

On May 24, Audi Jamaica presented the 2018 Audi Q5 luxury SUV. The Q5 was reimagined and redesigned from the inside out and offers an entirely new experience from its predecessor for both the driver and passengers. "With the new Q5, we are setting the bar a notch higher. Among the great innovations are the Quattro drive system with ultra-technology, highly efficient engines, the air suspension with damper control, and a comprehensive line-up of infotainment and assistance systems," said Rupert Stadler, chairman of the board of management at AUDI AG.

"The first-generation Q5 is the bestselling premium SUV worldwide. It wasn't too big or small and had all the technology that allowed it to be sporty yet comfortable. The new Q5 was always going to be harder to design because of how good the first generation was. However, Audi managed to redesign the Q5 from the ground up to make it even better," said Damian Kerr, head of business for Audi Jamaica.

The state-of-the art 2018 Audi Q5 is available in 13 exterior colours and 10 interior colours, with a starting price of $9.99 million.
