Mercedes-Benz AMG Driving Experience

Recently, Mercedes-Benz Jamaica took its entire range of AMG models for a drive out to Grizzly's Plantation Cove in St Ann for the second annual Mercedes-Benz Driving Experience. From South Camp Road via the Portmore Toll and a straight shot on the North-South Highway, AMG enthusiasts got behind the wheels of some of the fastest and most powerful vehicles on the island and got a real feel of the performance of these vehicles. These AMG models offer something for every driver - from the sports enthusiast to those who just want luxury. The vehicles combine racetrack assertiveness with everyday capabilities to ensure an intensive driving experience while continually challenging the status quo through holistic vehicle development.

Invited guests had their choice of driving their own AMG vehicle or selecting from Mercedes-Benz Jamaica's variety of AMG stock units.

The AMG range provides customers, from sports fanatics to more luxury detail-oriented enthusiasts, with an unmatched experience, making every AMG a statement of driving performance," noted Duncan Stewart, director at Stewart's Automotive Group, official dealers of Mercedes-Benz in Jamaica. We caught up with a few of the drivers to get a feel of their AMG drive experience.

A. For two years, combined.

What's so special about the AMG range of cars?

The power, the stability on roads, the quick response time, the agility. It gives a totally different driving experience - it's unmatched.

If you could own and drive any AMG, which one would it be?

No other; just my own car - the AMG GT R

What's so special about the AMG range of cars?

I'm a sports car guy, so the sound, the look and the overall sexiness of the vehicles are what's so special. I consider myself privileged to be an owner of these super cars.

If you could own and drive any AMG, which one would it be?

I'm definitely interested in the GLE 63 AMG 4Matic Coupe.
