Having launched its third generation Cayenne earlier this year, Porsche, in short order, has launched its new Cayenne Coupe.

According to David Henriques, head of business, Porsche Jamaica, “Porsche heard the cries of the public, and they wanted an SUV Coupe,” and having checked all the boxes, (style, power, handling and exclusivity), the 2020 Cayenne Coupe, is today a reality.

And, of course, there is nothing normal about a Porsche, so the grand reveal to the local market, held at the Shortwood Great House (1A Olivier Road), was done in quite an unusual and spectacular manner. The new Cayenne Coupe, was held in mid air by a crane (the Shacman f3000 rotating recovery wrecker), which later lowered the car to the stage for its unveiling.

“It is one of the most beautiful things that I have ever put my eyes on, I absolutely love it,” is how Adam Stewart (CD), CEO of ATL Automotive, described the new Cayenne Coupe.

And beautiful it was, as guests rushed to get a close up view of the new sport car, styled in lava orange, thoroughly exploring it, inside and out.

Here are the highlights.
