The automotive world is always excited to have an addition to the field, and that was the case when Subaru introduced the new Subaru Crosstrek 2.0i-L. For the local market, I got to test drive a mid-spec variant of their popular compact SUV. Packed with a potent petrol engine, this latest addition to the Crosstrek line-up promises an impressive blend of performance, style, and practicality.

Design That Commands Attention

The Crosstrek 2.0i-L retains the distinct rugged and sporty design elements that Subaru enthusiasts adore. It features a bold front grille with the iconic Subaru emblem and sharply styled LED headlights that not only enhance visibility, but also give the Crosstrek a modern and aggressive look. The robust body cladding, raised ground clearance, and attractive 17-inch alloy wheels add to its adventurous persona.

With a length of 175.8 inches and width of 71 inches, the compact dimensions make it ideal for round-town driving while the ample ground clearance of 8.7 inches ensures you can confidently tackle off-road adventures.

The 60/40 split-folding rear seats further enhance versatility, letting you configure the space to suit your needs and giving 55.3 cubic feet, with the rear seats folded down.
