Jamaica Yellow Pages has announced that it has changed its brand name to Yello, with the unveiling of a new online directory.

With the name change, the online directory has also been changed from www.jamaicayp.com  to www.findyello.com, the company said in a release.

It said findyello.com features more comprehensive content, a simpler modern interface, innovative design and easier site navigation to enhance the users’ search experience.

Visitors to the site will have information on coming events as well as business tips and reviews from a team of content writers, said Ian Neita, chief executive officer of the parent company, Yello Media Group.

He said they have fast-tracked the evolution which began as a printed directory brand known as Yellow Pages to a full service media business, Yello.

“This charts a new direction for digital marketing in the 21st century,” Neita said.

The company said the changes are in response to customers’ demand and expectations, as well as to position the company to take advantage of the latest developments in digital marketing.

Search engine marketing, website development, social media management and app development are some of the digital solutions being offered, said the release. Yello’s new slogan is, “We know local”.

Yello Media Group is planning to roll out a series of new products and services to connect buyers and sellers and enhance local economic activity, the release said.
