Stocks Round Up | Honey Bun today's top winner, Caribbean Assurance leads decliners

The Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE) Combined Index closed the week on a losing note on Friday.

The moderate trading session ended with an advance/decline ratio of 43/41.

The JSE Combined Index declined by 1,272.51 points or 0.32 per cent to close at 402,566.90.

The JSE Main Market Index declined by 1,705.22 points or 0.44 per cent to close at 389,557.86, while the Junior Market Index advanced by 36.48 points or 0.86 per cent to close at 4,263.14.

The JSE USD Equities declined by 0.04 points or 0.02 per cent to close at 215.10.

Market volume

Some 26 million units valued at over $188.3 million were traded today.

Volume leaders were Jamaican Teas, followed by Transjamaican Highway USD and Transjamaican Highway.
