Bacchanal starts Friday parties
Jamaica's Carnival excitement continued last Friday at the New Mas Camp, Stadium Grounds, Arthur Wint Drive, St Andrew. The main dance floor was kept abuzz by Bacchanal loyalists until minutes after 3 a.m.
DJs Richie Ras, Snow and Lantern whipped up strong selections comprising new and old soca music, much to the approval of patrons.
There was also a display segment where patrons were given the opportunity to see this year's costumes, which are available for purchase on www.bacchanaljamaica.com.
Sponsors Digicel and Craven-A attracted many patrons to their stations, which boasted unique decor. Special deals on products and services were also offered.
Kamal Powell, senior sponsorship and development manager at Digicel told The Gleaner about prizes for patrons. "If you are here every week, you can share the moment on our Digicel Instagram and Facebook pages and win great prizes. You can win a smartphone every week," he said.
The Craven-A station served up inclusive beverages and its own touch of entertainment. Not only did Craven-A have ladies dancing in cages, but the brand also had a Wheel of Fortune game which was open to persons who purchased one of the company's products. Winners of the game walked away with cash prizes and gadgets.
Camille Robinson, Marketing Department executive at Carreras Limited said, "each week we will be bringing something exciting."ENTERTAINMENT
