Red Sparrow | Ferocity meets power

Murder abounds in Fox's new film, Red Sparrow, starring Academy Award winner Jennifer Lawrence as a deadly spy.

Dominika Egorova is every woman; a devoted daughter determined to protect her mother at all costs, a prima ballerina and a master of seductive and manipulative combat.

Egorova faces a bleak and uncertain future after she suffers an injury that ends her career. She soon turns to Sparrow School, a secret intelligence service that trains exceptional young people to use their minds and bodies as weapons. Egorova emerges as the most dangerous Sparrow after completing the vicious training process and comes to term with her new abilities. But her first mission, targeting a CIA agent, threatens to unravel the security of both nations.

The all-star cast includes Academy Award winners Jennifer Lawrence (Dominika Egorova) and Jeremy Irons, Academy Award nominee Charlotte Rampling, Golden Globe Award winner Mary-Louise Parker and Joel Edgerton.

Red Sparrow is directed by Francis Lawrence, written by Justin Haythe and is based on the 2013 novel of the same name by Jason Matthews.
