FBI agent Matt Graver calls on mysterious operative Alejandro Gillick when Mexican drug cartels start to smuggle terrorists across the US border.
In this war, there are no rules, and it escalates even further when Alejandro kidnaps a top kingpin's daughter, which inflames the conflict. When the young girl is seen as collateral damage, the two men will determine her fate as they question everything they are fighting for.
The film, a sequel to the 2015 blockbuster Sicario, features Academy Award winner Benicio del Toro and Academy Award nominee Josh Brolin reprising their roles, along with Isabela Moner, Academy Award nominee Jeffrey Donovan, Manuel Garcia-Rulfo (The Magnificent Seven) and Catherine Keener joining the cast.
The 2018 Italian-American action crime thriller is directed by Stefano Sollima and written by Academy Award nominee Taylor Sheridan.
