The Serengeti at Hope Zoo was flooded with positive vibrations on Saturday night as the lyrically potent Agent Sasco officially launched his latest album. Sweet music flowed from the banks of Hope River as the 14-track compilation blared from speakers. Track by track, the packed crowd was drenched with messages of love, unity, and, of course, hope.

Pointing out from the beginning that he would be taking the audience on a musical journey, Agent Sasco swept each patron away in the tide of his life story, giving them an experience that no doubt saturated their spirits and soaked their souls. Each song presented a new topic, and with it each a new wave of emotions. At one point, the latter became so overwhelming that the man of the hour himself had to fight back tears so as not to be submerged in it.

The entertainer told stories of his late mother as he introduced the track dedicated to her. The song, which features vocals from gospel phenom Glacia Robinson, titled Mama Prayed, had him reminiscing on the days when his mother used to wake him and his siblings in the wee hours of the morning to pray. He said that although his 10-year-old self was often annoyed, he now understands the significance of her actions. "I thank You, Lord. Mama used to pray for me ... I thank You, Lord. Mama was there for me, " he sings on the track.

Other songs on the album are Energy River, Banks of the Hope, and So Blessed, featuring Dre Island.

Explaining that the album represents where he is in life, Sasco says he felt it necessary to look back at what his journey has been like. He revealed that having fallen in love with music from an early age, he had to create an album that showcased all the lessons he learnt as a boy, and how they've groomed the man he is today. "This album definitely represents me getting closer to what I believe my purpose in this music is to be, and it's where I find fulfillment - doing content that means more than just music," he said. "This album is sharing a lot of the things that I live by, principles I've found strength and motivation and hope in, and I'm trying to share that. "

After going through the album track by track, Sasco ended the night with a performance that saw many of the artistes featured on the album sharing the stage with him. They included Dre Island, Romain Virgo, Popcaan, and many more. Scores of persons from the industry came out to support the man of the hour on his night, including Lieutenant Stitchie, Sevana, Aidonia, Govana, Bay C, and Christopher Martin.
