Dr. Seuss’ The Grinch (3D) | He’s a mean one
For their eighth fully animated feature, Illumination and Universal Pictures present The Grinch, based on Dr Seuss' 1957 beloved holiday classic. The Grinch tells the story of a cynical grump who goes on a mission to steal Christmas. Funny, heart-warming and visually stunning, it is a universal story about the spirit of Christmas and the indomitable power of optimism. The Grinch is the third screen adaptation of the story, following the television special from 1966 and the live-action feature length film from 2000. The film features the voices of Academy Award nominees Benedict Cumberbatch and Angela Lansbury, Rashida Jones and Kenan Thompson.
The film, narrated by Multi Grammy Award winner and Academy Award nominee Pharrell Williams, is directed by Yarrow Cheney and Scott Mosier and written by Michael LeSieur.
