The Creature (Jonny Lee Miller) and Victor Frankenstein (Benedict Cumberbatch) National Theatre Live: Frankenstein, showing this Sunday, 11:30 a.m. at Palace Cineplex.

Scientific responsibility, parental neglect, cognitive development and the nature of good and evil are all embedded within this thrilling and deeply disturbing classic tale. National Theatre Live: Frankenstein returns to international cinemas to mark the 200th anniversary of Mary Shelley's most famous novel.

Childlike in his innocence but outrageous in form, Franken-stein's bewildered creature is cast out into a hostile universe by his horror-struck maker. Meeting with cruelty wherever he goes, the increasingly desperate and vengeful creature determines to track down his creator and strike a terrifying deal.

Directed by Academy Award winner Danny Boyle, Frankenstein features Academy Award nominee Benedict Cumberbatch and Jonny Lee Miller. Captured live in 2011 from the National Theatre stage in London, this thrilling, sold-out production shows this Sunday, 11:30 a.m. at Palace Cineplex.
