Minister of Minister of Culture, Gender, Entertainment and Sport, Olivia 'Babsy' Grange, says she is looking forward to what Buju Banton has to say when he graces the stage tonight- the first time in eight years.

The man of the moment, is minutes away from delivering what is expected to be one of his most historic performances to date. Pointing out that his time away has made people hungry for his music, she says,

"Tonight is just magic. He has a magical voice, and when he's on stage, he's a dynamic performer. His incarceration didn't take away the love and appreciation people have for his talent, and tonight is a true manifestation of that. What it (his time away) has done is created a hunger and a desire to hear Buju and to see him."

She continued, "Tourists have come to Jamaica for this show tonight, and it shows that Buju Banton is highly respected and loved as an artiste."

Minister Grange says tonight's concert has shown the global attraction of reggae, and that should be celebrated. "Tonight has proven the impact of reggae music globally. Tonight is a manifestation of not just people's love for Buju Banton, but their love for reggae music and all our genres."
