Kevin Downsell releases ‘Grace’ for Easter

Fresh off his IRIE FM Awards win, where he walked away with Gospel Artiste of the Year, Kevin Downswell released his new single, Grace, on Holy Thursday.

“Grace means God’s unmerited favour, which means there is nothing we could have done to earn it. As a matter of fact, many of us including myself deserve the opposite of grace, but God in his love kept us, preserved us and, in some cases, elevated us. There is nothing that’s happened in my life where I can boldly say I did it or I am the reason it all came together. No, God did it,” Downswell said.

He was recently signed to global Christian music label Integrity and is now one of the artistes booked by Headline Entertainment.

Tashne McLean going after her ‘Goals’

Up-and-coming dancehall artiste Tashne McLean has a natural affinity with music.

“No matter what I am doing I’m always singing or listening to music, I have been drawn to music since I was a little girl attending church with my grandmother and I remember the days when I used to go karaoke and sing,” McLean said.

The talented Negril native recently collaborated with dancehall deejay Sudu Mos-I to record a thought-provoking single titled Goals.

Produced by Ralston Barrett for Symphony B Records, Goals is scheduled to be released on all digital platforms today.

McLean is currently working on more collabs as well as some solo projects too. “I want to put out a lot of music before the end of the year. I’m going after my goals I’m not easing up.”
