Eleven albums named in JaRIA's Album of the Year categories

Winners to be announced Easter Monday at awards gala

The Jamaica Reggae Industry Association (JaRIA) introduced an Album of the Year category for its 2023 Honours Awards and the selection committee has declared the nominees in the Reggae, Dancehall and Gospel gospel categories.

JaRIA members (paid and lifetime) have begun the voting process.

Voting in this category is exclusive to JaRIA members and a link was sent to members whose votes are due by Sunday, April 9. Additionally, the association created a Spotify page to enable members to review the nominated albums.

One winner in each of the categories will be announced at the JaRIA Honour Awards Gala which takes place on Easter Monday, April 10, at the Jamaica Conference Centre, Port Royal Street, Kingston.
