1. Mean Girls

The comedy classic gets a musical makeover. Mean Girls defined a generation and the new version, starring Renee Rapp, will hopefully capture lightning in a bottle a second time. At the very least, we should get a decent soundtrack out of it. Release Date: January 12

The story of Bob Marley being told on the big screen. One of the greatest figures in music history and whose name and face is synonymous with a genre. It’s long overdue and hopefully it will do justice to the legend. Release Date: February 14

3. Dune Part 2

The science fiction epic continues. After suffering delays, thanks to the writers and actor’s strikes of 2023, Dune Part 2 will finally see the light of day, and Paul Atreides will show the world, that is, if he has what it takes to be the saviour of Arrakis. Release Date: March 1

5. Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire

They may not be up for Oscars but, the crowd pleasing antics of Godzilla and King Kong cannot be denied. After their conflict in 2021’s Godzilla vs. Kong, they’re joining forces in what should be a battle of epic proportions. Release Date: April 12

The hit film Mad Max: Fury Road introduced the world to Charlize Theron’s Furiosa. Now, years later, Anya Taylor Joy will reveal her secrets in this prequel brought to the world by George Miller himself. Release Date: May 23

One of the greatest modern film trilogies continues with a new chapter. This time taking place further into the future where the planet we know starts to disappear and something new takes its place. Release Date: May 24

At long last, Deadpool and Wolverine will share the screen in all their glory. Hugh Jackman returns and will take on the multiverse with Ryan Reynolds by his side. Release Date: July 26

After the explosive 2019 film peeled back the curtain on the clown prince of Gotham, a sequel was all but destined to come to cinemas. This time, Lady Gaga joins Joaqin Phoenix in this twisted musical love story. Release Date: October 4

10. Nosferatu

Robert Eggers film, The Northman, was one of my favourites of 2022, and his gothic aesthetic is perfect for the vampire classic remake. Here’s to hoping he brings his A-Game for cinemas original vampire. Release Date: December 25
