Stellar performance from Mr Vegas at Dream Wknd YUSH

Dream Wknd’s highly anticipated throwback-themed bash, YUSH, delivered an unforgettable night of nostalgia and fun at Wavz Beach. Attendees embraced the spirit of the ‘80s and ‘90s, donning vibrant retro outfits and dancing the night away to a line-up of classic hits.

The highlight of the evening was a stellar performance by veteran dancehall giant Mr Vegas, who delivered an energetic performance, complete with backup dancers. Taking the stage at approximately 3 a.m., Vegas delighted the crowd with renditions of his popular tracks; however, he provided a twist by including a mini juggling session at various intervals. The artiste shared his excitement about the event, stating, “After being in the industry for 27 years, this is my first time performing at Dream and the reaction from the crowd was incredible, I enjoyed every minute of it. This only goes to show that real dancehall music is still relevant, and isn’t going anywhere.”

The party’s musical ambiance was masterfully curated by top DJs Nicco, Kurt Riley, Mix Master David and Richiepoo of Silverhawk. Their electrifying mixes kept the venue buzzing, with patrons showing off their best dance moves to timeless hits.

Group Managing Director Scott Dunn was elated with the turnout at YUSH. He shared that “the throwback vibes that YUSH produces is something that our patrons look forward to year after year. Nineties to 2000s dancehall is an era worth celebrating at every chance, and our dreamers absolutely enjoy basking in the nostalgia evoked by that era.”

The weekend’s festivities continued with the dynamic events Wet ‘N Wild and World Vibes on Sunday, August 4, ensuring Dream Wknd maintained optimum energy level at its halfway point.
