The shades of purple are perfectly blending but this can also be done with two different colours instead of hues of the same colour.

It is summer and women are not hesitating to pull out all the stops when it comes to getting all dolled up for the numerous parties that abound. But in the midst of all this excitement, we want to ensure that our looks are well put together.

This season, we love to keep it bold and sunny like the weather. Yes, summer is the season in which we love to stand out and be bold, but remember that the rule of thumb still applies - bold eyes should be accompanied by soft lips, and soft eyes can work with both bold and neutral lips.

Cat eyes are categorised as soft eyes, since the eyeshadow is rarely used, and when it is, it is usually a shade like bronze or gold. So pop out that red for those puckers.

Make-up artist Jahrene Wilson worked her magic on herself and model Chrissie-Ann Dennis on how to achieve bold looks appropriately without going overboard.
