Dress to impress or stress?

When you think about teachers, conservative fashion comes to mind. But word on the street is that teachers have traded in modesty for fashionable flamboyance. Teacher couture either exemplifies dressing to impress students who are looking to emulate their attire for the work world, but are they stressing the minds of young onlookers who can no longer focus on the books but get caught up in their risqué looks. Here are what a few people had to say how teacher typically dresses, or ought to dress.

Teachers dress differently. From you see a teacher, you must know she is a teacher. They tend to wear skirts and jackets, and their shoes are also an indication of their profession.

A teacher is supposed to dress a certain way. If it's a skirt, it's supposed to be long, long or short sleeve blouse. If you're wearing a dress it should not be sucked on, it supposed to be something flared off. They should look respectable. But nowadays sometimes when you go to the school, how the teachers dress, are not reflective of their profession.

The young ones. It's too much. The men, their pants are too tight, can't lift up their hands too high because the shirts are too tight. The skirt for the women is too much. They should dress conservative. Female teachers can wear a skirt but it's not too tight, you can have a pants not too tight because, they shouldn't be there for the fashion, they are there for the teaching.

Teachers have to look appropriate, like a working class Christian type. That's how I would identify her. Not the Dancehall 'bruk' out type of look.

Dress according to the law. Every teacher should be properly dressed. Formal routine of dressing meticulously. Nothing short, addressing children, If you can't wear a skirt, you wear a pants. You can't want and don't put in, so.if want respect, you have to dress to earn that respect.

A teacher is someone who should dress respectable. Dress in loose fitting clothes, not anything too tight, well dressed suits. You have some teachers that let go themselves and dress in some things that are not attractive for the classroom. So they should dress properly. They should look well put together, a little makeup is fine. They should look like somebody students can look up to.

You can know the professionalism of the person just by how the carry themselves, how they dress. The length of her skirt, an inch or two below the knee. The tightness of her skirt, not too tight, not too big her blouse whether it is tucked in or outside, should be hip length.she would be well groomed. The hair is combed. Dress to influence others. Children live what they learn and they will learn from how a teacher dresses.

Teachers are supposed to role models for students and if you come into the school with tight pants, and short skirts, giving the students different things to think about.
