Tailoring your body

Get that blood flowing with a few push-ups, using the chair. Ensure that you keep your stomach tight and your legs straight.
A basic squat is a plus, stand and sit, then stand.
Stomach tight, rest hands on head gently and move from left to right. You will not even have to step out of your chair to work out your obliques and core.
This shows how low you go with the seated back flexion and before coming upright once more.
This seated back flexion helps to release and ease those muscles that get so tight from sitting upright all day. Hands at your head, feet apart and stomach tight. Bend at the waist with back still straight.
Pay keen attention to Rose’s form with the basic squat. Do not slide all the way into the chair. Hands should be set almost as if you are going to say a prayer and feet flat on the ground.

This is the form you should maintain when you dip.
The oblique crunch will help to eliminate all the damage a chair does with giving you belly fat.

While helping other men to look their finest, sitting in those chairs may prohibit you from looking yours. Everyone who sits at a desk will attest to packing on those pounds by just sitting down at the desk for hours.

It is easy to be so engaged in what you are doing you do not even feel the time passing by, especially if it is your true passion. But in the pursuit of passion, we need to also take care of our bodies. We understand that making clothes takes time and getting to the gym might not be easy.

However, you can use your worst fitness enemy - the chair - to be your actual workout partner and create a bond that your body will be thanking you for.

We solicited the expertise of Trainfit's Stokely Rose and he gave us a few demonstrations of on-chair exercises to work all your muscles.
