Standing six feet and three inches, Saint International model Jonny Brown has achieved a major trifecta unmatched by any other Jamaican male model to date in the global fashion industry. He has appeared front and centre in worldwide menswear advertising campaigns and lookbooks for three major fashion houses – Berluti, Alexander McQueen and Kenzo.

“I feel blessed, and to be honest, just a little bit overwhelmed,” the soft-spoken model admits of his high visibility, being a global face for the Parisian and British luxury label. “But I’m very proud of what I’m doing and am grateful to have been singled out by these leading industry brands to represent them,” he told Flair in a recent interview.

After being discovered in 2015, the 22-year-old model from St Andrew took a little over a year to find his footing and get the trending ball rolling on the runway. Already walking for Prada, Coach, Zegna Brooks Brooks Brothers, Wales Bonner, among others, the Saint star was never daunted because he was confident, having received support from his modelling agency. His big breakthrough came with recent portfolio ranging from magazine editorial in Italian Vogue and New York Times to advertising campaigns for Top Man, Nordstorm and Sisley. Brown has a major fragrance campaign unchecked on his wish list, and given his meteoric rise, the sweet smell of more success may very well happen sooner than later.

Although home here in Jamrock is truly where is heart is, he now relishes in the perks that come with travelling the world. “I love to being able to travel to places I had never thought possible before and Paris is hands down my favourite fashion capital.” Here’s Jonny!
