When it comes to good-tasting food, particularly curried dishes, Sharmz Restaurant is the place to visit.

The small eatery, which is located on Job Lane in Spanish Town, St Catherine, was busy during a recent visit by Food. This reflected the restaurant's popularity.

The roasted breadfruit and roti were in high demand. There was also the signature curried goat, curried goat wrap, curried chicken, stewed pork, sweet and sour chicken, along with 'mannish water'.

Dishes are also served daily with rice, cornmeal, yam, and banana, depending on customers' requests.

According to owner Charmaine Bent, since its opening in 1996, the restaurant has become a household name.

"When it comes to curried goat, roti and other popular dishes, Sharmz is the best place where you get it. I have been coming here for years and the standard has me returning as the food and service is great," said Egbert Moore.
