With the Chinese New Year being just around the corner, 100 on Hope Road kicked off the annual celebrations with food and drink on the rooftop and gaming lounge.

"The Chinese culture has a very strong presence in our gaming lounge. We value the culture, and this celebration is meant to bring good luck and good fortune for the rest of the year to our patrons," said Alexisse Chin, coordinator for the event.

The celebration catered by the chefs of 100 and Loraine Fung, to recognise the year of the dog, featured several Chinese delicacies, including chicken and pork sow bow, oriental beef satay and chilli spicy pork tenderloin. The event was well attended as there is no doubt how much Jamaicans love Chinese food. The evening even featured a lion march, which entertained and interacted with guests.
