Opened since October of last year, Fruit Prints Ja is creating a craze with its refreshing and delicious arrangements.
It's the brainchild of Northern Caribbean University student Samantha-Lee Davis, who innovatively makes assortments for all purposes and occasions
Davis is very skilful with the knife, carving beautiful designs into some of nature's most luscious candies. She has been making the edible gifts as a pastime activity since she was 13 years old. Now, at 22, the self-taught entrepreneur has decided to share her talent with a wider audience and reap some profits.
She explained to Food that an ever-growing admiration for the culinary field fuels her efforts. In addition, an appreciation for colours and decor has fed her passion over the years and inspires her to continue producing the products.
"I'm absolutely in love with what I do and I enjoy every part of it. I used to do it for fun for weddings and parties, but I've never considered do it professionally until recently. Now, I just want to continue to grow and, hopefully, get a physical location soon," she explained.
