Thirty-six-year-old Leo Henry has succumbed to gunshot injuries he received during a dispute at the Grand Bahia Principe Hotel in Runaway Bay, St Ann last night.

Henry, a taxi operator of Dumbarton, St Ann had reportedly visited the work place of his ex-girlfriend where he allegedly attacked her with a knife and inflicted wounds to her body.

The police say a licensed firearm holder on the property went to help the female co-worker and he too was allegedly attacked by Henry.

That's when the licensed firearm holder fired one round hitting Henry.

The police say the woman's 17-year-old child was also injured during the incident.

All three injured persons were taken to hospital where Henry later succumbed to his injuries.

The other injured persons were admitted.
