A trough across the central Caribbean and Jamaica has been influencing weather conditions across the island since Saturday night and is expected to continue into tomorrow, according to the Meteorological Service.

Torrential rainfall has caused severe damage in several parishes, including flooding, landslides, infrastructural damage, agricultural destruction, ruined houses and power outages.
