UPDATE: Hunt on for wanted man 'Cruz' following shootout with army

The Jamaica Defence Force (JDF) is urging residents of Richmond Hill in St James to be on the lookout for wanted man Richard Anderson also known as 'Cruz'.
Cruz escaped a dragnet this morning in the bushes of Richmond Hill during which his crony Delano Wilmott alias 'Prekeh' was shot dead.
A major security operation has been underway to capture Cruz.
The JDF says Cruz is wanted in connection with numerous crimes including multiple murders and shootings.
He is said to be violent, heavily armed and dangerous.
The security forces are also reminding residents that it is a crime to harbour a fugitive.
Prekeh was also wanted in connection with numerous crimes.
FIVE THINGS ABOUT PREKEH:
1. Has been on Jamaica's most wanted list for several years.
2. Was featured in the shooting of two soldiers in St James in September.
3. Was alleged to have been a key player in the Ratty Gang.
4. Separated from the Ratty Gang and formed the 'Prekeh' Gang.
5. Was also known as Lano and Prekeh Boy from Retrieve in St James.
