UPDATE: Counselling for 10-year-old girl after mother murdered at home

Counselling is to be arranged for the 10-year-old St Theresa Prep School student who witnessed the murder of her mother this morning.
She is currently in the care of a relative.
Forty-six-year-old sales representative Nadine Brown of Edward Road in Retreat, St Thomas was opening the grille to her carport when she was pounced upon by a gunman who opened fire hitting her several times.
Brown was about to leave home to take her daughter to school.
The police say the gunman was dressed in an orange and grey striped shirt.
They also say five 9 milli-metre spent casings have been found.
