Petrojam said that it has now received the US$370,000 that was owed by Aegean Marine Petroleum for products delivered on November 4.

Agean has filed for bankruptcy protection in the United States.

The Opposition had raised questions that amid the filing, Petrojam was owed debts by the Greek firm.

According to court documents, Aegean stated that it owed the state-owned Petrojam US$3.17 million.

But Petrojam denied this, saying it was only owed the specified sum of US$370,000.

In a statement, Petrojam said the payment was received yesterday.
